1921-23  lives with his family in Genf
1943  graduates in architecture at Waseda University
1950  works two years for
Le Corbusier in Paris
1957  plans the National Museum of Western Art für          Le Corbusier - together with Maekawa Kunio and
         Sakakura Junzô
1959  professor for Architecture at Waseda University
1964 
founds his own office Atelier U
         becomes president of the Architectural Institute
         of Japan
