Located
in the south part of Roppongi lies Azabu,
a quiet
high class
residential area with many embassies, churches and schools. The
Azabujûban area has many traditional shopping streets which
have
been in continuous operation since the Edo period (1600-1868). All of
Azabu is an unassuming area quite the opposite from the nearby fashion
conscious Roppongi. The Azabu-jûban hot springs spa, highly
effective
in treating nervous disorders, stiffness and rheumatism, is
an unusual site within Tôkyô.
