The
franchiser SUNKUS officially
merged with CIRCLE K
in 2004 and is now officially "Circle K Sunkus Co., Ltd". The two
brands remain separate - convenience stores owned by the company either
have a SUNKUS sign or a CIRCLE K sign. The word SUNKUS is a combination
of the words "sun" and "thanks" and the logo is a combination of the
words "sun", "kids" and "us".
